Outlook Calendar Sync

VALT now integrates with Microsoft Outlook, allowing you to schedule a room (location) linked to an Outlook email directly from VALT.
✔ Requires Microsoft AD + Azure
✔ Each VALT room must have a linked email in AD
✔ Users must have matching email addresses

Plan, book, and manage sessions directly through Outlook—no more double-scheduling.

VALT Cue Session Builder (Now Inside VALT!)

No longer limited to setting up a circuit in the VALT Cue App on an iPad. You can now build VALT Cue sessions directly in the VALT UI.

• Available to admin-level users
• Visual interface makes building circuits easier and seeing sessions more transparent.

Audio That Keeps Going

One of our most-requested improvements: Audio now continues to play while switching browser tabs. This helps ensure smooth, uninterrupted monitoring during multi-view observation.

AVMIX Module

Capture audio directly through a camera feed—ideal for setups where hardwiring isn’t possible.

Multiple cameras in the room? Want the audio from one and the view from the other? Assign that camera with the audio from another. Want to listen to one room and watch from another? Associate the audio with the camera you want to observe from.
Our developers still recommend hardwired installations for reliability when feasible.

Template Import & Export

Quickly replicate setups, upload standard templates, and share customized templates across rooms and installations.

Smarter Markers for Review & Debrief

• Duration markers mark start & end segments, clip specific video segment.
• Transcription markers allow one-click conversion to quickly timestamp searched keywords.

System Upgrades

To improve system reliability and streamline support, we’ve completed a major backend overhaul:

• MySQL → MariaDB conversion for consistent OS maintenance and support between Docker containers.
• Enhanced security patching across all Docker containers
• Improved backup technology for data protection and faster recovery
• New “Migrator” Docker for seamless upgrades moving forward
• Software and environment versions now tracked separately for clearer maintenance

• Early alpha support for WebRTC video streaming: Now optimized to feel more like making a phone call—fast, direct, low-latency.
