Intelligent Video Solutions is excited to be virtually exhibiting at the National Children’s Advocacy Center’s (NCAC) 37th International Symposium on Child Abuse from March 22nd through the 25th.
The National Children’s Advocacy Center, located in Huntsville, Alabama, revolutionized the United States’ response to child sexual abuse. Since its creation in 1985, the NCAC has served as a model for the 1000+ Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) now operating in the United States and in more than 34 countries throughout the world, with 9 more currently in development.
Through the work of its Prevention Department, Intervention Department, MDT, Training Department and the Southern Regional Children’s Advocacy Center program, the NCAC serves as a beacon of hope for more than 10,000 child abuse victims every year.
More than 158,697 child abuse professionals from all 50 states and 179 countries have been trained by the NCAC since its inception.
In these unprecedented times, the international symposium will continue to provide the state-of-the-art training needed to continue to provide services to children and to fight child abuse while keeping health and safety a top priority. It will be slightly different from their in-person event, but there will be new experiences in the virtual format to provide a great experience.
Several sessions will be available on-demand throughout the conference. Registration includes access to on-demand workshops and records for many live and simulive workshops for six months after Symposium!
We will be showcasing our video observation and recording platform, VALT, which allows child advocacy centers to record forensic interviews as easily and simply as possible.
VALT also allows child advocacy centers to easily manage and protect video content so that it is only available to users that are given the rights and privileges to do so. VALT provides the necessary user rights management, authentication, encryption and network architecture required to make video content fully secure when recording interviews.
