We’re happy to announce that the latest release of our flagship video software application is available as of Friday (April 1st)! Version 3.4 has been released and we’ve added a bunch of great new features. Here are just a few of the major items that we’ve added:
Access Control Integration: Our system can now integrate with the Axis A1001 door readers. This allows us to utilize standard RFID badge readers to start and stop recordings while maintaining proper access and author information of each recording.
Valt API: A simple API has been added to assist in 3rd party application integration. This API allows for record status queries as well as start and stop record commands in addition to other application functions.
Multiview Export: This feature allows users to export multi camera recordings as a single MP4 file. This feature is supported for 2,3, and 4 camera recordings.
Containers: We added a feature that allows for the complete segmentation of User Groups, Rooms, and Templates. This feature was designed for multi-department installations. The added functionality allows us to run any number of departments with department specific administrators on a single software instance (without the departmental admins seeing each others application objects).
Expanding Logs: We have added to the system logs. We are now capturing IO and access control start and stops of recordings.
